    CITFF Supports Education for Veterans

    The Creating IT Futures Foundation (CITFF) has donated $10,000 to the scholarship fund of the National Association of Veterans Upward Bound (NAVUB) to support efforts to get veterans trained and employed. Charles Eaton, executive director of CITFF, unveiled the foundation’s contribution at the recent annual conference of NAVUB, a professional organization for Veterans Upward Bound (VUB) personnel.

    Charles Eaton (far right) joined a panel in North Carolina's RTP to help discuss challenges of finding and training entry-level IT talent. We’re always amazed at the amount of jet-setting that our executive director, Charles Eaton, does on behalf of the Foundation. Last week he was in Pensacola, Florida, to talk about IT training of veterans (more about that soon). A trip to Silicon Valley is in the planning stages, but this week he is in North Carolina to talk about IT careers there as part of a special panel discussion.
