Thank You to Our Special Partners! You Make Jump-Starting Tech Careers Possible

No one gift of time, talent or treasure makes our mission – nurturing the next generation of technologists for our nation’s IT workforce -- possible. It takes a team: our people and our partners. We appreciate every gift in any form that we receive from each supporter. However, during this season of gratitude, we want to devote a few posts to saying thanks to some special partners by sharing who they are and what they do to support aspiring technologists and others around the country.

  • Boeing—With financial support from Boeing for Chicago’s first IT-Ready Technical Support class, in 2019 we were able to train, certify and place unemployed and under-employed adults in career transitions into their first jobs in the IT field.

  • City of Minneapolis – As a partner in the MSP TechHire program, we were able to help unemployed and under-employed Minnesotans develop interest, secure opportunity and discover success in careers working with technology – and win an award along the way.

  • The Cognizant U.S. Foundation – With a grant from Cognizant, in partnership with Wounded Warrior Project’s Warriors to Work Program, we were able to fund a three-year education campaign reaching thousands of wounded warriors and their family members throughout the U.S., and provide training and job placement resources to help them launch technology careers.

  • Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont – In partnership with Goodwill, we were able to offer CompTIA A+/Help Desk Support classes to under-employed and unemployed adults and to help them begin careers in technology.

Thank you to all our partners and donors.
