Employer sees value in IT-Ready
When IT-Ready Program officials approached Medica about offering post-graduation apprenticeships to adults entering the information technology field, the company’s senior IT leaders were receptive to the notion. A Bright, Shining Star: Pomeroy Wins Polaris Award
Creating IT Futures awarded Pomeroy with the Polaris Award, given to a company that is leading the way toward information technology (IT) careers for those in need of career opportunities. Pomeroy, a leading IT services company based in Hebron, KY, was recognized by the nonprofit foundation for taking on five newly trained IT workers from the foundation's inaugural IT-Ready program, the most of any company in 2012.Read Full Story
