The Career Choice CompTIA Virtual Tech Support & Training Certification course, which launched in March, gives eligible Amazon associates the opportunity to achieve CompTIA A+ certification, a top certification for desktop support, customer support and technical support positions. The knowledge and skills gained from the program will help graduates launch an IT career with strong earning potential, which they may use to further their careers within Amazon or to pursue employment with other companies.
The course is a 10-week, part-time live online program geared toward helping students analyze business operations and identify customer needs. Graduates of the program will be able to demonstrate baseline security skills for IT support professionals, configure device operating systems, and have basic IT infrastructure and networking skills.
CompTIA Tech also will offer career services to help associates through a job search process, including resume review, individual job coaching, LinkedIn training and networking opportunities.
CompTIA Tech first partnered with Amazon in 2020 and offered two sessions of its Career Choice CompTIA IT Operations Specialist (CIOS) course, which trained 242 students.
CompTIA Tech’s custom training programs have helped other companies and organizations with training solutions that meet workforce and business needs. These customized programs mirror the workplace and give students real-world experience and professional development solutions.
