Creating IT Futures and Blue Star Families Provide New Opportunity to Military Spouses

It’s not always easy for military spouses to find successful careers. Frequent relocations and deployments can hinder opportunities for long-term employment.

That’s why Creating IT Futures and Blue Star Families are partnering to offer military spouses a pathway to portable, flexible careers in information technology.

Our IT-Ready Technical Support program provides an on-ramp for adults to a successful career in information technology in as little as 8 to 12 weeks. We offer education, training and job placement for qualifying adults who lack formal job experience in the IT field.

The full-time classroom-based course is underwritten by grants and financial donations, so military spouses can attend classes for free.

In IT, it’s important to be a problem-solver and adaptable to change. Who better than military spouses excel at these skills?

IT-Ready graduates earn CompTIA certifications, valuable assets that lead to higher pay and better opportunities. And since IT professionals earn higher than average salaries, IT-Ready can help put you on that path.

IT-Ready invests in your success by making sure the program is the right fit for you. Our multi-step application process ensures that when you start your IT-Ready program, you’re going to succeed in it.
