No one gift of time, talent or treasure makes our mission – nurturing the next generation of technologists for our nation’s IT workforce – possible. It takes a team: our people and our partners.
We appreciate every gift in any form that we receive from each supporter. However, during this season of gratitude, we want to devote this post to saying thanks to some special TechGirlz partners by sharing who they are and what they do to support aspiring technologists and others around the country.
- Comcast – This global media and technology company supports TechShopz In a Box™ workshops that introduce girls to technology by offering financial support and resources.
- The Lenfest Foundation – This organization works to strengthen community support systems for young people, especially during critical transitions in their education and development. The foundation supports TechGirlz through grants that allow us to continue our mission to introduce technology to middle school girls.
- The Philadelphia Foundation—In partnership with Comcast NBCUniversal, The Philadelphia Foundation recently awarded a $100,000 grant to TechGirlz to help us in our mission of inspiring more girls to pursue careers in technology through after-school courses.
- SAP—This global enterprise application software firm strives to enact positive social change through economic growth, job creation, innovation and community – all values that harmonize with our mission. Thanks to donations from SAP, we were able to continue inspiring young women to become next generation leaders, influencers and innovators in the tech industry.
Thank you to all our partners and donors.
