The Case for IT Jobs
Family-sustaining wages. A career - not just a job. A sense of accomplishment each and every workday. These are just a few of the reasons we believe the IT industry is the right industry for our candidates.
The Bureau of Labor Statistics rates the IT support industry as one of the fastest growing industries in the economy.
In recent months at any given point there were over 200,000 IT jobs unfilled in the U.S. because there aren't enough skilled workers to fill those positions. And the job roles are growing as technology becomes more pervasive in industries such as healthcare and as more companies deploy new technology such as advanced mobile devices for their workforce.
Salaries for IT workers remain well above the national average. For example, IT workers with a CompTIA A+ certification earn on average almost $70,000 a year.
Information Technology is also a strong career choice for women because the pay gap between men and women in IT is much smaller in comparison to the gap found in many other professions.
