Give Thanks to Those Who Serve

Press Conference Announcement
The City of Columbia and local companies work directly with Fast Forward and the CompTIA Educational Foundation to enhance IT job skills for its residents.
In the past four years, we've helped more than 1,000 veterans get the training and certification they need to jump into the IT workforce through our Creating Futures program. It's our simple way of saying "thank you" to those who serve.

We also provide training for military spouses, giving them a transportable career as they move from place to place as military life requires. Our Women in IT Advisory Group aims to empower women with the necessary knowledge and skills and inspire them for successful IT careers.

Local partners like Fast Forward in South Carolina also give us direct access to military veterans who desperately need our industry's help. Fast Forward works with local government and employers not only to train veterans for an IT career but also to place them into jobs.
