  • Survey Says: Tech Salaries Going Up

    A number of national and international salary surveys have come out during Q1 2013 and we are pleased that they are reporting positive increases for those working in the IT sector. Moreover, some tech professionals have seen an over five percent increase in salaries since this time last year — the biggest jump in over a decade. According to Dice.com, tech professionals earned an average annual wage of $85,619 in 2012.

  • Are They Missing IT?

    Are young people seeing what we hope they're seeing: a future in an IT career? The information technology (IT) industry may be missing out on a large number of workers due to lack of awareness among youth of IT job roles, according to a recent study. While fully 97 percent of the more than 1,000 youth who were surveyed for the CompTIA study acknowledged an interest in technology, only 18 percent reported an interest in an IT career.
