Employ Candidates
The Creating IT Futures Foundation — in partnership with local employers — screens, trains, places, and mentors veterans, displaced workers and other in-need individuals in six-month full-time paid apprenticeships that can lead to permanent employment with family-sustaining wages as a skilled IT worker.
In 2012, we began beta testing our IT-Ready Apprentice Program in Cincinnati and Minneapolis / St.Paul. As we prove success in these locations, we’ll explore branching out to other locations around the U.S. and eventually across the globe.
If your business is located in one of these two cities, please contact Amy Spear, Senior Manager of National Workforce Programs, at aspear@comptia.org.
Who We Serve:
- Veterans and their spouses and/or caregivers.
- Unemployed or underemployed individuals.
- Displaced workers whose skill sets are no longer in high demand.
- Groups under-represented in the ranks of IT workers such as women, African-Americans and Hispanics.
