Joan Matz, grant manager from CompTIA's Creating IT Futures Foundation, presents a free webinar for teachers who want to grow their IT classes on January 14 at 2pm CT, hosted by the Digital Professional Institute.

Matz helps to create organizations in high-poverty communities that are focused on creating IT careers and growing the local talent pool to fill those positions, by working with schools, colleges, government entities, corporations and community groups. Teachers participating in the webinar will learn a step-by-step approach for bringing stakeholders to the table, including building employer connections for students.

CompTIA members and IT pros are stepping up to help under-employed and unemployed adults build new IT careers. Through CompTIA’s Holiday Challenge Grant, we’re proud of the way that our industry is coming together to pay it forward.
