Closing the skills gap and helping people in need of opportunity to enter the IT field doesn't happen by itself.

CompTIA Member Communities are wrapping up their annual giving campaign in conjunction with the Creating IT Futures Foundation, to the tune of $130,000. At least two-thirds of the dollars go to charities that prepare youth or adults for careers in IT.

“The CompTIA Member Communities are a terrific mechanism for making sure that charities around the country and even the world that align with our mission are properly identified and supported,” said Charles Eaton, CEO of Creating IT Futures.
